Meet the Staff

Pastor Greg Van Dunk

E-mail Pastor Greg Van Dunk

It has been a joy to serve Atonement as Pastor since 2005.  Together we’ve grown in faith and numbers as we relocated and built a new church, multiplied opportunities to worship God and developed skills for life and ministry.  We’ve added many terrific staff and expanded our efforts to serve a world in need.

Prior to Atonement it was a privilege to plant All Peoples Church (ELCA) in Milwaukee and serve as Assistant Pastor of Epiphany Lutheran church in Dayton, OH.  I also was fortunate to serve part time as ELCA Mission Director for the Greater Milwaukee synod from 2003-2010.

Ann and I have been gratefully married for as many years as I’ve been a Pastor (29).  We live in Milwaukee not far from Habitat for Humanity where she works.   We have three grown children along with their spouses and two grandsons (If you twist my arm I’ll show you their pictures!).

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds.  – Romans 12:2a

Pastor Kevin Kretzmann Farrar

Associate Pastor
E-mail Pastor Kevin Kretzmann Farrar

Kevin Kretzmann Farrar has served as the associate pastor at Atonement since June 2018. Prior to his time at Atonement, he has worked at churches in Minnesota, New York, and California. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Kevin is a graduate of St. Olaf College, Yale Divinity School, and Luther Seminary. He is married to Alissa, a pastor at Lake Park Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Raised a nondenominational Christian, Kevin does not get Lutheran inside jokes. However, he is eager to talk about soccer (Come on You Spurs!), new places to travel, and life as a Christian today.

“For with you, O God, is the fountain of life…”
-Psalm 36:9a

Katy Klinnert

Worship Leader
E-mail Katy Klinnert

It has been my joy and honor to serve in a variety of churches as a liturgical musician for nearly 20 years! After moving to Milwaukee from Fargo, North Dakota to complete my degree at Marquette University, I joined the Atonement staff as Worship Leader in March of 2008. So much has changed in these years I’ve been a part of this community and it’s been an absolute joy to be on this journey with all of you as we’ve grown together. Currently, I lead our Worship Team for contemporary services as well as our summer outdoor worship, and serve on our Creatives Team for worship planning. I absolutely love the energy and vibrancy of Atonement and also enjoy worshiping and being a part of this church with my daughter Maddie. In addition to my responsibilities at Atonement, I own and operate a personal chef business in the Milwaukee area and love to travel, read, and spend time in the sunshine. I look forward to growing more and worshiping vividly with you!

E-mail Anne Farebrother

As the Coordinator for CFM, I work closely with families and volunteers to create dynamic christian learning opportunities for our school age children. I am also the instructor of both Little Steps and Family Steps Together. These classes encourage families to grow together in faith and go deeper in their relationship with God. We enjoy learning about our Heavenly Father with bible stories, songs, games and crafts.

My husband, Tim and daughters, Emily and Katelyn are frequent helpers in class.  I am blessed to watch these young students grow!

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
