Opportunities to Help Out
Throughout the year, this committee, through the help of many volunteers, helps with the many exciting events at Atonement including:
- Lunch for annual meeting
- Lenten Suppers
- Easter Breakfast
- Rally Day
- Away In A Manger Family Advent Celebration
This is an opportunity to become involved and create new friendships and to be part of a very important ministry within the church.
Creation Care Ministry
Atonement has established a “CreationCare Ministry” small group. The objective was to create an atmosphere of caring for the earth by equipping the church:
- Non-use of styrofoam
- Use of dishes, silver and reusable beverage pitchers
- Use of commercial grade reusable plastic cups
- Use of dishwasher only during large events
- Use of composter
- Use of recycle containers
